Start before arrival.
A useful reservation starts with the customer and the unit together. Record the space being held and the details your team will need at the counter. That gives the next conversation a clear starting point.
Let the record do some of the work.
The move-in flow can carry known customer details into a lease prepared from your template. Review the particulars with the customer and collect the required signatures. If you keep an iPad at the counter, renters can sign there without leaving the conversation.
Connect the financial details.
The lease gives the first invoice context. Review proration, explain the billing schedule, and discuss autopay if the customer wants to enroll. A receipt and a clear next due date help set expectations.
Finish beyond the paperwork.
The customer needs to find the unit and understand access. Connect the gate code to the rental, confirm the location on the facility map, and point out where to find documents and payments in the customer portal.
Leave useful context for the team.
The next person at the desk should be able to pick up the story. Keeping rental, billing and access records connected gives that handoff a place to begin.
